About Apathy

Apathy is an HNM Linkshell originally based on Remora and created by Sinus.  Shortly after Sinus's retirement, the Linkshell was reformed under the leadership of one of the original members of Apathy, Narse.  Following the announcement of the merger of worlds by Square-Enix in March 2010, it was decided that the linkshell would move to a new server to get a fresh start.  Apathy is now based on the Shiva server, and the linkshell is still led by Narse. 

Apathy participates in a wide variety of events offered in Final Fantasy XI including, but not limited to:

- SCNM
- Limbus
- Zilart, ToAU, & WoTG HNMs
- Sea
- Sky
- Einherjar
- ZNMs & VNMs
- Dynamis
- Salvage
** Our typical weekly schedule is listed in the applications section of the public forums, and events tend to vary.

Over the years, Apathy has been one of the top rated and respected linkshells in the game due to our various accomplishments as a group (I.E. - Absolute Virtue kills, Pandemonium Warden Kills), as well as our own accomplishments as individuals.  We strive to maintain this level of success as Final Fantasy XI enters into yet another era of new gaming content.  A great deal is expected of our members skill-wise, and we also expect members to be respectful of each other and of other players outside of the linkshell.  Our members earn points on a DKP system and items though a bidding system which enables fair distribution of equipment.  Furthermore, our members are allowed to exchange points for gil, which has enabled various members to obtain high price items, including AV items and relic weapons.  Apathy will sell various items to people outside of the shell provided there is no internal interest in said item.  These sales enable our linkshell to pay for our events and provide gil to our members.  Please see our bazaar section to see our current prices, and if there is an item not listed that you are interested in, feel free to send a tell to a sackholder/member about purchasing it.
